the last thirty-five years, the Sunshine name has stood for
innovative, beautifully designed high quality gas barbecues.
When you select a Sunshine Legend you are choosing a barbecue
that is based on Australia's finest outdoor cooking system.
The griddle can be used to cook any number of tasty treats
and to seal in the flavour of steaks or chops prior to cooking
over the open char-grill. The cast iron griddle plate is ideal
for delicate and smaller items of food, both savoury and sweet.
It's also useful for heating pans of sauces and marinades.
And, best of all, it gives you the opportunity to cook a traditional
English breakfast outdoors on a beautiful summer's morning.
Unique to the Legend range are the heat deflector plates located
between the burners. These gas efficient devices radiate extra
heat to the cooking surfaces and reduce energy loss meaning
that the Legend barbecues burn considerably less gas than
many similar size barbecues.
All Sunshine Legend barbecues have an inner metal 'skin' to
the barbecue casing which insulates against heat loss and
keeps the exterior of the barbecue safe to touch - an important
consideration when young children are present. As a stylish
finishing touch, the Legend's full width grease drip tray
has a matching hardwood handle.
The stylish trolleys used with Sunshine barbecues are crafted
from a durable 'heavy' hardwood using traditional woodworking
methods which mean that they are totally weatherproof and
can be left outdoors all year round. All of the slats on the
side tables and bottom shelf sit in individual rebates for
maximum rigidity. To maintain the 'original' appearance of
the trolley, an annual treatment of teak oil is recommended.
