The
Ultra Violet Clarifier (UVC) continues to form a key element
of a clearwater system. The UV light causes algae (greenwater)
to clump together (flocculate) so that they can be sieved
out of the water by a filter. The introduction of the Vorton
range has revolutionised UVCs with a list of features making
them superior in performance, simple to install and extremely
easy to clean and maintain. The in-built 'turbulator' spins
water around the uv-lamp which increaes the unit's efficiency
by even exposure of the water to the UV light. Several features,
for example rotating inlet and outlet and bayonet quartz tube
fittings, make the Vorton UVC very easy to use and maintain.
The Vorton
is 50% more efficient than other UVC products due to a built-in
"turbulator" which forces the water to flow through
the chamber in a corkscrew motion so the water is thoroughly
and evenly exposed to the UV light.
