secret of the Pondovac 3 is with the two chamber system,
Two identically sized cylinders are filled and emptied
in alternating cycles. If one container is full in the
Pondovac 3 then a valve is mechanically activated by
a float switch. This triggers emptying of one and at
the same time allows the other cylinder to be filled.
This is how both vacuuming and emptying of the container
can occur at the same time with the Pondovac 3!

The
Oase Pondovac 2 is a sludge pond vacuum cleaner, which can
remove particles of dirt up to 10mm in size, algae, string
algae, sludge, dead vegetation and bits of leaves from the
pond by way of suction.The Oase Pondovac 2 vacuum has a 30
litre tank which is made of impact resistant plastic and features
a unique sludge draining system. The sludge is drawn from
the pond through an adjustable suction nozzle (2-10mm) into
the container via a 5m connecting hose. Once the container
is full of sludge, the motor switches off auotmatically. As
soon as this happens a special valve at the end of the 3m
long discharge hose opens automatically allowing the sludge
to drain out of the tank. This takes approximately 25 seconds.
The pond vacuum then starts up again. The Pondovac 2 includes
2 extra vacuum style nozzles and a net for the discharge hose
to catch large particles, such as leaves and blanket weed.
The Pondovac 2 features a higher motor performance and an
accessory table that means all the tools can be organized
and stored easily.
