TetraPond Foodsticks contain all of the nutrients needed by pond fish, in correctly balanced quantities to ensure optimum digestion and minimum waste. This means less pond maintenance and better water quality. They also promote excellent health, colour and condition, to keep your fish at their best.

How it Works
TetraPond Foodsticks are made using Tetra´s advanced extrusion process, meaning that not only are they highly digestible and nutritious, but that they quickly soften in the water (without falling apart) making them easy for the fish to eat. They are formulated to meet the specific dietary needs of pond fish, and therefore are the best possible food for them. TetraPond Floating Foodsticks were the first pond foodstick specifically developed for fish, and represent another world first from Tetra.

How to Use
Feed TetraPond Floating Foodsticks 2-4 times a day (depending on the weather), feeding only as much as the fish will consume within a few minutes. Below 10°C, stop feeding TetraPond Foodsticks and switch to TetraPond Wheatgerm Sticks. As a general rule, TetraPond Floating Foodsticks can be fed from March through to November.

Fish enjoy a little variety in their diet, just as we do. TetraPond Variety Sticks give them this variety in a form that is highly palatable, highly digestible, and which offers them a complete diet. They contain a mixture of TetraPond Floating Foodsticks, TetraPond Koi Sticks, and TetraPond Wheatgerm Sticks. Between these sticks, your fish will be provided with all of the vitamins, colour enhancers, and nutrients they need for excellent health, growth and condition. You can either feed TetraPond Variety Sticks as a complete diet all year round, or use them during the spring and autumn when the portion of Wheatgerm sticks will aid digestion. They are also particularly useful in ponds where there is a mixture of koi and other pond fish.

This combination ensures that your fish receive a varied diet that is nutritionally complete.

Feed TetraPond Variety Sticks 2-4 times a day (depending on the weather), feeding only as much as the fish will consume within a few minutes. TetraPond Growth Foodsticks for Koi

During periods of warmer weather, koi and other fish are more active and have a greater capacity to grow. In order to fulfil this increased growth potential, and to maintain the higher turnover of body tissues, they benefit from a higher protein level in their diet. However, it is essential that this protein level is in balance with the fat content of the diet, in order to allow maximum protein use and minimal waste production. Tetra Growth Sticks offer fish the extra protein that is needed, in a well balanced and complete diet, which will ensure that your fish reach their full potential during the warmer months of the year.

How it Works
Fish use protein for all sorts of bodily processes, including growth, the immune system, hormone production, reproduction and so on. In addition protein is used for energy. However, when protein is used for energy, ammonia is produced. By keeping the extra protein in Tetra Growth Sticks balanced with alternative energy sources (principally fats), ammonia production is kept to an absolute minimum, allowing the maximum amount of protein to be used by the fish. This avoids problems associated with other poorly balanced growth foods, and helps to ensure that the pond environment is kept healthy.

How to Use
Feed TetraPond Growth Sticks 2-4 times a day, feeding only as much as the fish can consume within a few minutes. TetraPond Growth Sticks can be fed from April through to September, either exclusively or mixed in with TetraPond Koi Sticks or Floating Foodsticks.

Goldfish and their varieties, such as shubunkins and comets, are the most popular fish for garden ponds and water features. However, up until now there has not been a premium food specifically developed for the needs of these fish. TetraPond Goldfish Mix has been specifically formulated to provide a complete, premium diet for goldfish kept outdoors. It consists of four different types of foodstick, Spirulina flakes, and river shrimp.

How it Works
Goldfish Mix has been extensively researched at Tetra´s headquarters in Melle, Germany, which is home to the world´s largest laboratories for studying the nutritional requirements of ornamental fish. The four sticks in Goldfish Mix include a colour enhancer, and a high protein growth stick. The spirulina flakes also enhance colouration, as well as health and immunity. The river shrimp adds an additional treat for your goldfish, to keep them happy and healthy.

How to Use

TetraPond Wheatgerm Foodsticks

During colder periods, the nutritional requirements of fish change slightly. In order to meet these needs, Tetra have developed Whetagerm Sticks for all pond fish. These sticks contain all of the nutritients required by fish during the winter, in a format that is easy to digest, and that will not sit in the gut like non-specialised feeds. By feeding fish during the winter, their energy reserves will not be depleted, and they will start the new season in much better condition.

How it Works
TetraPond Wheatgerm Sticks contain high levels of wheatgerm, which is a high energy, highly digestible, food ingredient. It also contains certain essential vitamins and fats, which help to maintain condition during the colder months.

How to Use
Feed TetraPond Wheatgerm Sticks 1-3 times a day, depending on the temperature. Only feed fish that are coming to the surface in search of food, and remove any uneaten food after a few minutes. For example, they need a small, sinking food, and enjoy a natural diet rich in crustaceans, molluscs and invertebrates. TetraPond Sterlet Sticks provide a diet that is solely formulated for sturgeon and which will keep them in top health and condition.

TetraPond Sterlet Sticks have a number of features that make them ideally suited for sturgeon.
